Ok, a little more about Darwin

We did heaps in Darwin and without my little travel journal by my side right now, it is difficult to say what we did and when, but a few highlights were;

• Hiring pushbikes and riding along the esplanade to East Point
• Hiring a car and driving to Litchfield Park for a refreshing swim in Florence Falls
• Going to Berry Springs for yet another refreshing swim!
• Doing a Jumping Crocodile Cruise on the Adelaide River (although the boat driver was a complete tool)
• Visiting the friendly animals at the Territory Wildlife Park
• Lunch at Casuarina on Sunday after a short, sharp and shiny service at my old church
• Catching up with old friends
• Staying at a fancy hotel in the city centre
• Getting *engaged* on the 13th floor of said hotel, while looking at a beautiful sunset, sipping champagne and eating strawberries (most certainly the main highlight of the trip)
• Going on a sunset harbour cruise on our last night (only slightly marred by some sea sickness!)

So yes, needless to say, a truly unforgettable holiday!!!
