Unperturbed by my unsuccessful baking attempt on Sunday, I got back on that horse, or rather, in that kitchen, today and made lemon curd. With the leftover egg whites, I whipped up some meringue and made little lemon meringue pies. I haven't tasted them yet, but if the sum of awesome + awesome = superfricken awesome (Marshall,A. 2010), my dinner guests are in for a treat!

Thanks for trying and trying again. I will think of your beautiful, and I imagine tasty, lemon curds, whenever I think of giving up.
